1799 1C --Corroded--ICG. AG3 Details. S-189, B-3, R.2. The 1799 is the rarest date in the large cent series, and examples with clear dates are always in demand. The rim extends into the base of the date, and only a few letters in LIBERTY are partly present. The right reverse is pitted, and the coin has been harshly cleaned to remove verdigris, causing unnatural cherry-red color.
