Description

1799 S-189 Cent, Good 4
Evenly Worn With Pleasing Color

1799 1C S-189, B-3, R.2, Good 4 PCGS. Sheldon-189 is the most frequently seen of the three 1799 larger cent varieties, and most representatives are well-worn, as is the present piece. The budget-conscious collector will consider this piece as a representative of this elusive date. Wear is even over deep chocolate-brown surfaces. The rims are indistinct around much of each side, but all legends are readable, and the central devices are bold. Scattered small marks are not unusual for the grade and issue. Our EAC grade AG3.
