1800/1798 1C VF25 NGC. S-190, B-5, R.3. The repunched second A in AMERICA attributes this conditionally difficult Guide Book overdate. This walnut-brown representative displays exceptional hair detail and has only trivial marks. Minute granularity is limited to the field near the chin. A majority of S-190 survivors are in VG or lower grades. Bill Noyes grades this coin an extremely conservative VG8. MRB F15. Census: 2 in 25, 4 finer (2/11).
