Choice AU 1800 Cent, 'Q' Variety, S-197
1800 1C AU55 NGC. S-197, B-12, R.1. The "Q" variety, named for the die crack near the first 0 in the date. A tornado-shaped die break between the IB in LIBERTY is equally distinctive. This medium brown cent has ample shimmery luster on the devices and legends and is smooth save for a few darker and slightly granular areas on the right reverse.
