Description
1801 VG 8 Corroded. S-215, R.5. While certainly not one of the finer examples known, this piece will provide a collector with an entry level coin that is complete with the diagnostic die cracks, swelling of the die, and clashing that characterize the variety. Well-centered, the surfaces are corroded, giving the coin heavy porosity on both sides. Steel-gray and reddish-brown patina.
