1802 1C No Stems XF45 PCGS. S-241, B-20, R.1. Although the famous "Three Errors" variety is the reverse shared by S-218 and S-219, S-241 equally deserves the nickname. The stems are absent, there are two fraction bars, and the second S in STATES is widely repunched. The letter M from AMERICA is clashed into the obverse at 4 o'clock. A medium brown cent with luster in Liberty's hair and vein detail on the leaves near the E in ONE. MRB VF25. Population: 5 in 45, 6 finer (8/09).(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1476, GSID# 804)
