Description
1803 VF 20 Corroded. S-253, R.2. The obverse shows the upper corner of the 3 touching the drapery, but the diagnostic "period" after the denominator has been obliterated by an old dig. The reverse was struck from the perfect state of the dies, and is scarcer as such. Softly struck, the surfaces are uniformly porous and are dark-brown, almost black.
