1803 1C XF 40 Corroded. S-257, R.2. Under a loupe, the charcoal-brown surfaces reveal rough areas that betray obvious corrosion. Despite this impairment, however, this is a remarkably attractive coin. Well struck and suitably detailed within the confines of this grade level, both sides are free of mentionable contact marks.
