Description

PCI 1804 XF 40 Brown Environmental Damage. Nicely detailed, with all of Liberty's hair strands and the folds in her drapery well-defined. Both sides are a deep chocolate brown color. The obverse has some slight granularity; apparently, the "environmental damage" designation refers to a patch of granularity in the right obverse field. The reverse has nice surfaces and is much smoother than the obverse. For an 1804 Cent, this example is well above average. Trends at $7500 in EF.
