Description
1804 1C --Corroded, Tooled--ANACS. VF Details, Net Fine 12. S-266B, R.2. A median die state for this key large cent (and the only variety for 1804), identifiable by the beginnings of a die break over RTY on the obverse and no break on the reverse. Sharp definition throughout, but the surfaces display porosity that is more extensive on the reverse and a small area of rather crude tooling marks at the tip of the bust. Despite its problems, a very collectible Draped Bust cent.
