1804 1C --Corrosion--NGC Details. Fine. S-266c, B-1, R.2. Third major die state with prominent cuds over RTY and MERIC. Very late dies, since the rim break extends over the final A in AMERICA. The ebony surfaces are evenly granular aside from a porous area near 5 o'clock on the reverse. STATES OF and the date are faint, while other legends are sharp.
