Description
Key Date 1804 Cent VF25
1804 1C VF25 PCGS. S-266, B-1, R.2. The early die state without cuds on either side. A splendidly detailed example of this key date cent. The lilac-brown surfaces display distributed small marks. As always, the dies are rotated such that the 0 in the date is aligned with the O in OF. Only one die pair was used to strike 1804 cents, if the "restrike" variety from muled and altered dies is discounted. EAC 12.From The Chippewa Valley Collection.
