Favorite 1807 S-271, B-1 Comet Cent, XF45
1807 1C Comet XF45 PCGS. S-271, B-1, R.1. Though not a particularly elusive die pair, this variety has enjoyed years of fame thanks to its distinctive left obverse die break. The present piece has deep brown surfaces that show only light wear and a few scattered marks. It was struck at least twice, with doubling noted on Liberty's profile.
