Pointed 1, Collectible Guide Book Entry

1807/6 1C Pointed 1, Large 7 over 6 S-273, B-3, R.1, XF40 PCGS. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VF25, net VF25. Breen Die State II, with prominent parallel flaws from IC in AMERICA to the leaves. The 7 in the date is punched over a clear underlying 6. Dentils are mostly indistinct, and the upper obverse and lower reverse legends are incomplete. The curls, denomination, and wreath exhibit good detail over smooth chocolate-brown surfaces.
