1809 1C --Improperly Cleaned--NGC. Unc. Details. S-280, B-1, R.2. Breen Die State III. The sole dies for this scarce Classic Head date. Liberty's cheek and neck slightly glossy, and the faded red in protected areas is suspicious given the fact that neither major grading service has certified a Red or Red and Brown example.
