Description
Splendid 1810 Cent, S-282, Choice AU
1810 1C AU55 PCGS. CAC. S-282, B-3, R.2. The E and T in LIBERTY are low and lean left, and the sixth star is noticeably closer to the fifth than the seventh. A berry is located below the right foot of the first A in AMERICA, which is a helpful diagnostic for the reverse. Pleasing medium brown patina covers both sides, with a few darker spots noted on both sides. The stars and Liberty's hair are a trifle weak, but the reverse is sharply defined. This splendid piece is housed in a first generation PCGS holder. EAC 45.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224S, PCGS# 1550, GSID# 850)
