Description

1810 AU 55 Light Corrosion. S-282, R.2. A surprisingly attractive cent with well centered faces. While the strike is far from complete, the central focal points are quite crisp and the denticles are all at least faintly visible. The surfaces are smooth and glossy with mottled orange-brown and medium brown toning. The inconspicuous corrosion is largely confined to the reverse and does not unduly inhibit the overall eye appeal. A find for the collector with a limited budget who realizes the hefty price tag that high grade, problem free survivors of this type command.
