Description
1812 AU 50 NGC. S-288, R.3. Glossy, steel-brown color is seen over both sides, with iridescence that hints at original luster. There are virtually no surface marks, but the edges have a couple of minor bumps. A bit weakly struck on the stars, but nicely struck in the centers. Classic Head cents are among the poorest produced and, subsequently, scarcest type coins in high grade condition.
