1812 1C Small Date, S-290, B-2, R.1, AU50 NGC. A mahogany-brown and lavender-red representative of the conditionally rare Classic Head type. The well-defined surfaces display moderate peripheral granularity. We note only a small spot on the obverse rim at 2:30 and a field tick above the N in ONE. Our EAC grade VF35.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224W, Variety PCGS# 36499, Base PCGS# 1561, Greysheet# 80079)
