Description
Burnished AU 1813 Large Cent
1813 AU 55 Burnished. S-292, R.2. A handsome Classic large cent that is particularly well defined in the centers with some weakness at the margins. The variegated khaki-green and lighter brown colors are interesting if not completely original. The coloration does much to subdue the effects of light burnishing that has given the coin a slightly brighter appearance than one would normally expect from this type. Very elusive in such a superior state and deserving a place of honor in a high grade type, date, or variety collection.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224X, PCGS# 1570, GSID# 861)
