Description
Impressive Mint State 1814 Large Cent
1814 1C Plain 4 MS 62 Brown NGC. S-295, R.1. A splendid example of this type that is seldom seen in any Mint State grade, this example possesses lustrous surfaces that are rich cherry-mahogany in color. There are a few minor abrasions that are typical for the grade, and the strike is above average for the issue. Struck slightly off center on the obverse, this piece will command significant interest from at least a few type collectors.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1576, GSID# 867)
