1814 1C Plain 4, S-295, B-2, R.1, MS62 Brown PCGS. Breen Die State V. A curved die crack from the rim to star 11 and the low curls continues to the 8 and the rim. The 1814 Plain 4 variety is plentiful in all circulated grades but is difficult to locate in Mint State. Splashes of faded mint red are noted at the upper left obverse on this chocolate-brown cent. Population: 14 in 62 (1 in 62+) Brown, 22 finer (2/25).
