1816 1C MS64 Brown PCGS. CAC. N-2, R.1. The Randall Hoard is responsible for most surviving Mint State 1816 through 1820 large cents. Those of 1816 are the N-2 variety like the example offered here. The rim breaks at the upper right obverse and the recut N in ONE are the identifying features. This piece has lustrous olive-brown surfaces with hints of original mint red. MRB MS60.(Registry values: N991)
