Description
1818 1C MS64 Brown NGC. N-10, R.1. A Randall Hoard variety and found in large numbers in mint condition. For more than a century this variety has been a type coin of choice for the Matron Head type. An attractive coin that retains a considerable amount of original mint red, although faded now, for a coin that has been classed as Brown. Sharply defined on the hair of Liberty, but several stars are incompletely brought up. A few subtle spots determine the grade.
