Description
Mint State 1819 N-8 Cent
1819 1C Small Date MS63 Brown NGC. MS62 EAC. N-8, Early Die State, R.1. An early die state, this cent has smooth fields with a tiny graver scratch on the reverse between the bases of AT. Fully lustrous olive surfaces exhibit considerable pale orange mint color. A few tiny flyspecks are visible on each side, in addition to an old corrosion spot at ED. Nearly all of the surviving Randall Hoard cents have similar problems. This is an excellent candidate for the date or type collector.Ex: Norm Pullen (8/89).(#1606)(Registry values: P1)
