Description
Mint State 1820 N-10 Cent
1820 1C Large Date MS63 Brown NGC. MS60 EAC. N-10, Late Die State, R.2. John Wright described the N-10 cent of 1820 as "one of the more common and less interesting varieties of the year." That's all right--not every reverse can be Starred. This variety combines a large date obverse and a large berries reverse. The obverse is light brown with some pale tan color. A few small pitmarks are noted. The reverse, which is rotated about 30 degrees counterclockwise, has darker brown color with some faint iridescent toning. Both sides have full cartwheel luster.Ex: Anthony Terranova (1/8/93.)(#1615) (Registry values: N991)
