Description
Top-Quality 1827 N-3 Cent
1827 1C MS62 Brown NGC. AU50 EAC. N-3, Early Die State, R.2. No evidence of any die cracks are seen on the obverse with the exception of minor disturbance in front of Liberty's ear, and the reverse border is completely defined. In later states, minor die cracks appear through the stars at the left. The surfaces have lovely olive and darker brown color with some pale blue toning on the highest design points. A few insignificant blemishes are noted, but the surfaces are quite pleasing and certainly above average. Although not specifically identified in Del Bland's Census notes, this example is within the top 10 known of the variety.Ex: J.J. Teaparty (7/83).(#1651) (Registry values: N991)
