1827 1C MS64 Brown NGC. N-11, Early Die State, R.1. A glossy chocolate-brown example with smooth fields and boldly executed design elements. Blushes of pale violet patina add to the coin's considerable eye appeal. While a common die pairing and by far the likeliest candidate to locate in Mint State, its importance as a high grade representative of this earlier Coronet issue is paramount.
