1828 N-6 Cent, MS64 Brown

1828 1C Large Narrow Date, N-6, R.1, MS64 Brown PCGS. CAC.
This sharply defined cent has distinctive olive-brown patina on its
satiny surfaces and exhibits full cartwheel luster. An intermediate
die state, this specimen has considerable obverse die rust with a
heavy die crack from the 28 to stars 13 and 12. This piece is a
twin to the Dan Holmes coin that was graded MS62 and tied for 10th
finest known. Our EAC grade MS62.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 225J, Variety PCGS# 36889, Base PCGS# 1654, Greysheet# 80449)
