1829 N-1 Cent, MS63 Brown
1829 1C Large Letters MS63 Brown NGC. N-1, High R.3. Our EAC Grade AU55. The E in ONE is nicely repunched. The later die state with a faint crack above M and across ER. This coruscating cent is medium to deep brown and has a nearly mark-free reverse. The obverse is nearly as smooth with only minute ticks near the profile. A better Newcomb variety, and the single finest of four certified as N-1 at NGC (12/13).From The Adam Mervis Large Cent Collection.(Registry values: N991)
