Description
Glossy 1830 Large Letters Cent, MS64 Brown PCGS
1830 1C Large Letters MS64 Brown PCGS N-1, R.1. This is a smooth, glossy textured example whose surfaces have the look of a full Gem grade. A trio of minor planchet flaws (as struck) in the obverse field above and to the right of the date do, however, confirm the MS64 designation. Still, with a generally bold strike and rich brown colored toning, this coin would fit nicely in an advanced copper collection. Traces of faded mint luster cling to a few of the peripheral areas. From the Ohio Collection.
