Description
Mint State 1830 N-4 Cent
1830 1C Large Letters MS63 Brown NGC. MS60 EAC N-4, Early Die State, R.1. The inner circle on the obverse is complete, and there is no indication of any rim crumbling or rim breaks. These are characteristics of the early die state of this variety. The N-4 die combination is the second most common of the year and is plentiful in all grades, even including Gem Mint State. This lower level Mint State coin is an excellent candidate for the date or type collector. Attractive olive-brown and lighter tan with some darker steel color and splashes of light orange. The surfaces have a few small marks, and the reverse has two or three isolated patches of minor corrosion.Ex: Dr. Robert J. Shalowitz (84).(#1672) (Registry values: N991)
