1837 N-9 Cent, MS64 Brown
Ex: Newcomb Collection
1837 1C Head of 1838 MS64 Brown PCGS. N-9, R.1. Our EAC Grade
MS62. Ex: Dan Holmes. A late die state with extensive die
cracks and rim crumbling on both sides, equal to Noyes obverse
state E and reverse state D. This fully lustrous piece has
attractive olive and bluish-steel toning on the obverse, with
mostly sea-green and reddish-tan on the reverse. Considerable mint
red remains on the obverse. A small corrosion spot is noted at star
