1837 1C Head of 1838, N-10, R.1, MS66 Brown PCGS. CAC. An impressive Premium Gem, with sharply detailed central design elements and well-preserved walnut-brown surfaces with traces of original red color hugging the devices. A touch of softness is evident on the stars, some flowlines are evident in the fields, and the reverse dentilation is weak. The beaded hair cords and low position of the date identify the N-10 variety. Our EAC grade MS60. Population: 12 in 66 Brown, 0 finer. CAC: 6 in 66, 1 finer (6/17).
