High Grade N-2 1838 Cent
MS66 Red and Brown
1838 1C MS66 Red and Brown NGC. CAC. N-2, R.1. A lustrous
high grade cent that is essentially unabraded and has only a single
pinpoint spot beneath the E in ONE. Brick-red is intermingled with
medium brown. About half of the stars are well struck. The fields
display an orange-peel texture, as coined from long-in-use dies.
