Description
Desirable Early State 1839 N-14 Cent
1839 1C Booby Head MS63 Brown NGC. AU55 EAC. N-14, Early Die State, R.3. This is one of the top dozen examples of the variety. It is an early die state with reflective fields; the dentilation on both sides is crisp and clear. The surfaces have reddish-brown patina with considerable olive undertones. A few splashes of darker steel toning are present. This is an important opportunity to acquire the variety, and also the die state.Ex: H.
