1839 1C Silly Head MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. N-9, R.2. A delicate bisecting die crack crosses the obverse from upper left to lower right, identifying the N-9 die marriage. This lovely near-Gem, housed in a green-label PCGS holder, has deep orange mint color with bluish-brown toning and several moderate reverse spots. Our EAC grade MS60. Population: 3 in 64 Red and Brown, 3 finer (3/12).(Registry values: N991)
