Description
1841 1C MS 64 Red and Brown NGC. Well struck on the central devices, the peripheries of this coin are notably weak. The stars display little to no centrils while the denticles are fused together in isolated areas. While the reverse displays vibrant orange-red luster, the obverse darkens to brown most notably over and behind Liberty's bust. A single abrasion on Liberty's cheek precludes a gem designation.
