Description
1846 Small Date Cent, An NGC-Certified, MS66 Brown Representative of N-20
1846 1C Small Date MS66 Brown NGC. N-20, R.3. Despite the color designation, the obverse reveals whispers of original, although somewhat faded orange-red luster in the protected areas around the devices. The balance of that side is toned in glossy-brown patina, a color that is also seen on the reverse intermingled with antique-gold shadings. The strike is generally free of criticism, and the surfaces do not exhibit any bothersome blemishes. From the Peter Martinez Collection.
