1846 1C Small Date MS62 Brown NGC. N-21, R.6. This rare Newcomb variety is identified by several wispy obverse die cracks and a die line to the rim from the I in UNITED. A crisply struck mahogany-brown example that lacks relevant marks. The reverse has a few tiny aqua flecks near design recesses. EAC 45.(Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 226C, PCGS# 1865, Greysheet# 1117)
