Description
1848 1C MS 64 Red and Brown. N-9, R.1. Soft brown patina has started to accumulate over the highpoints and in the open fields of this Choice large cent, but we note considerable mint luster on both sides. This is an important coin in terms of striking quality, every feature save for the obverse star centrils being appreciably bold.
Ex: Wes Rasmussen Collection (Superior, 2/98), lot 198. Uncertified.
