1849 1C MS64 Brown NGC. N-20, R.1. Grellman State a. An early die state with crisp die lines at the lower left and right reverse. A common variety and this Mint State piece seems to rank about 10th in the Census. Splashes of mellow mint red accompany the lustrous blue-brown surfaces.
