Fresh MS65 Red 1852 Cent, N-8
1852 1C MS65 Red PCGS. N-8, R.2. A popular hoard issue. This piece is unusual in that a ghost of the die crack from the coronet is visible, but the same cannot be said for the crack near star 13. This appealing Gem offers rich copper-orange color with scattered flyspecks on the reverse. PCGS has graded just one finer Red example (4/09).
