1852 1C MS66 ★ Red and Brown NGC. N-22, R.1. Grellman Die State b. A captivating, crisply struck large cent with lively luster and vibrant color. Deep steel-blue and violet shadings cede to fresh copper-orange near parts of the devices. NGC has graded only three numerically finer Red and Brown pieces (2/08).
