Late Die State 1852 N-16 Cent, MS67 Red and Brown
1852 1C MS67 Red and Brown NGC. N-16, R.1. This late die state piece is recognized by the numerous die lumps scattered on and around ONE CENT. The heavy die flowlines were transferred to the coin, weakening some of the peripheral details. It is a splendid Superb Gem with exceptional red frosty luster and lovely light brown toning.
