Description
1853 1C MS66 Brown NGC. N-17, R.2. Attributed by a dash to the left from the base of the 1 in date to the dentils, and a short curved line high on the neck. A glossy representative with pleasing deep green and rose undertones showing on the otherwise chocolate-brown surfaces. The obverse denticles and stars are imperfectly struck, but the central details are well defined on both obverse and reverse. The highly lustrous surfaces seem entirely blemish-free.
