Luminous Copper-Orange Type Coin

1853 1C N-25, R.1, MS65 Red PCGS Secure. Grellman Die State b. This plentiful hoard variety is attributed by a raised spike from the dentils between stars 1 and 2 and another from the top of the berry left of the C in CENT. Repunching is apparent at the base of the 1. The lower obverse and corresponding area of the reverse are soft, as are the stars centers, but the rest of this brightly lustrous Gem is strongly detailed with luminous copper-orange color.
