Not Sold Description
1855 MS 66 Brown NGC. Upright 5s. One of the finest certified examples of this late date large cent, this specimen displays attractive blue-gold patina and underlying glossy-brown surfaces. While we report minor striking softness on the denticles above Liberty's head, the majority of this coin is very well impressed. A few die chips are evident on Liberty's cheek and neck but this coin is free from post-production impairments. A lovely type coin for the advanced collector. Population: 9 in 66, none finer (6/99).
