1855 1C Upright 5s MS64 Red and Brown NGC. N-4, R.1. Our EAC Grade MS63. Grellman Die State a, usual for Uncirculated examples of this Newcomb pairing. Rich orange-red fills the borders though the centers have mellowed to dusky lilac. The strike is bold except on stars 4 through 7. Unabraded but a small spot is midway between stars 10 and 11.From The Adam Mervis Large Cent Collection.(Registry values: N991)
