1857 1C Small Date MS66 Brown NGC. N-2, High R.1. A high grade golden-brown and sea-green example from the final year of the large cent series. Devoid of contact aside from a tick at the tip of the coronet. Minor mint-made strike-throughs are near ONE CENT and each side of the neck curls. Our EAC grade MS62.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2009), lot 7273, which realized $1,495.(Registry values: P2)
